Eligibility Requirements
In order to be married in the Bahamas, you must be resident for a minimum of one day.

| Venues
The Ceremony
The soft, white powder sand of the Bluff House private beach is the perfect spot for your wedding ceremony. Your family & friends gather closely for an intimate, picturesque ceremony framed in local flowers, palm trees & expansive water views.
Or you may choose to get married in the Bluff House Clubhouse. With 200 degree water views, the large outdoor deck will provide a gorgeous backdrop to your ceremony. The interior of the Clubhouse is open and airy. It has a nautical feel with rattan furniture and local craftsmanship. Always a good spot if it rains on your wedding day!
The Reception
The Bluff House Clubhouse is located on the highest point in Abaco & has spectacular views. There are two dining locations to choose from. The Conservatory provides an indoor/outdoor feeling with views of the sunset from your table. The Main Dining Room feels more like home than a restaurant. It has beautiful Queen-Anne dining furniture and is fully air-conditioned.
The extensive decks surrounding The Clubhouse provide plenty of room for sunset cocktails and dancing after dinner.
Other Meals
The Bluff House also has a restaurant & bar located on the Marina, The Jolly Roger Bar & Bistro. This casual dining is directly on the water and next to the fresh water swimming pool. Your Welcome Party, Rehearsal Dinner, or Post-Wedding Brunch can be held here to provide a change of venue. |

A variety of local Bahamian entertainers are available. Enjoy Calypso music following the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, or dance the night away under a blanket of stars.
